Changes

Some phrases mean the same thing no matter what voice inflection is used when you say them. “If you say so…” isn’t one of them. This sermon series, based in the Gospel of Luke, begins with the call of the first disciples, continues with Jesus’ teachings in “the sermon on the plain,” and ends with his transfiguration. We will explore how these stories challenged the disciples then, and challenge us now, to follow Jesus even when his words and actions go against the grain of conventional wisdom.
